One of the first challenges I've faced so far has been making the web service calls from Flex more robust and more secure, in this article I discuss how I've implemented .NET thread security using WebORB.NET and Cairngorm. But I'm looking for feedback, do you know a better way?

Expression Engine upgraded from 1.6.1 to 1.6.3

We've just finished an out of hours upgrade of several of our clients' EE installations. Most were moving from 1.6.2 or 1.6.1 to the latest 1.6.3 and it all went smoothly, except for one slight issue with php caching which gave us the impression the upgrades had failed!
